How to Request Data Removal
At Project World Impact, we respect your privacy and your rights concerning your personal data. If you wish to exercise your right to erasure, also known as "the right to be forgotten," please follow the steps below to request the deletion or removal of your personal data from our systems. This process ensures that your personal data is removed unless there is a compelling reason for its continued processing.
Step 1: Understand Your Rights
- The right to erasure enables you to request the deletion of personal data where there's no essential reason for us to keep processing it.
- You have the right to request this in certain circumstances, such as when the data is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected or if you withdraw consent.
Step 2: Compile Your Request
- To help us identify you and any data associated with you, please provide the following in your request:
- Your full name and contact details.
- Any relevant details or identifiers that can help us locate your data (e.g., user ID, email addresses used).
- A brief explanation of your relationship with us (e.g., user, former employee, etc.).
Step 3: Send Your Request
- Email your request to: nonprofit@projectworldimpact.com
- Please include "Data Erasure Request" in the subject line to ensure your request is handled promptly.
Step 4: What Happens Next
- Upon receiving your request, we will confirm your identity to ensure data security.
- We will then process your request and respond within one month, informing you of the action taken.
- If we cannot comply with your request, we will provide you with the reasons why.
