Nyavachi Simbeye is 81 years old and she owns a small tinned house in Mwenilondo village, Karonga which is unbearably hot. She lives with her two children; a boy of 21 years old and a girl, 17 years old. Life in Mwenilondo has been extremely tough for them as they depend upon farming which sometimes didn't yield well due to the lack of proper fertilization. Both of her children dropped out of school as they couldn't afford education fees which put them in a difficult situation to get a sustainable job like others. Due to increasing epidemic diseases such as AIDS and HIV, and now COVID-19, Nyavachi's family members are having a tough time dealing with them both financially and emotionally. As a single mother, her parental care was limited due to poverty because of which she lost five children to HIV and AIDS back them which still traumatized her. "I am afraid my family members aren't getting enough food and proper sanitation," she said. Nyavachi is getting old and on top of that, her children aren't qualified to find a proper job. And she desperately needs your support to support her family. Please do contribute. It's the time we put humanity into practice.
