I have blessed with opportunity to share in a mission trip to Scotland to aid in assiting seniors with dementia. The Eric Liddell organization is a community center in Scotland that is a community hub and care charity based in Edinburgh as works to bring people together in their local communities to enhance the wellbeing and health of their community and to have a positive impact on their lives.
This is a blessing for me as my family has been a huge supporter of the Alzheimer Foundation in the California year when my grandmother was alive. She was diagnosed with dementia and alzhemier disease in her 80s. This was a huge education with our family in the disease and how it affected her in the later years of her life. Keeping her engaged in activities with her mind was part of the therapy at the Alzheimer home she resided in the last few years of her life. As my career has been in health care, i have worked as a paramedic where we commonly deal with senior population with Dementia.
Thank you for your support to assist me with the abilty to travel abroad to make a difference through the path God leads us to..
