I came across Emmaus at a missions conference in Urbana-Champagne, Illinois in December 2003. After four and a half years of prayer and God drawing me to the mission of Emmaus, I moved to Chicago from California in August 2008. Emmaus is a ministry that serves men involved in trafficking, prostitution and survival sex, and for about six years I worked with Emmaus in a variety of ways including street outreach, prison visits/correspondence and working in their drop-in center. Over 10 years later, Emmaus still impacts the way I know and understand God, who I am as a Social Worker and how I experience the world. Please join me in supporting Emmaus financially as they fight to end exploitation for all mankind.
