To build healthier communities through children's health and science education

Who We Are

Our programs give young children the science or the “why” behind good health and the tools to practice smart health behaviors. Through nutrition education, science experiments, physical activities, and social-emotional lessons, children learn how to keep themselves, their families, and their world healthy. HealthStart uses Science to teach: Healthy dietary and fitness activities for optimal wellbeing How the body functions and can prevent disease Importance of taking care of peers environment Skills needed to build healthier communities
