Our Mission

It is the mission of NAMI Gulf Coast to provide support, education, and service advocacy for families and individuals affected by mental illness. Eliminating the stigma of mental illness is the primary goal for NAMI Gulf Coast. The hope is that one day mental illness will be treated with the same compassion and understanding as any other illness.

Who We Are

NAMI Gulf Coast does not provide medical services, but we do offer support, education, service advocacy and shared information at our monthly support meetings and through the national headquarters of NAMI, and the state organization, NAMI-Texas. If a member of your family or a friend has a mental illness, we urge you to join NAMI Gulf Coast.
