City Rescue Mission
City Rescue Mission (CRM) was founded in 1946 to help homeless men in the Jacksonville area. Since its inception, CRM has evolved into a recovery program helping needy men, women and children from multiple counties in Northeast Florida, through meeting the basic needs of the homeless to providing a long-term residential rehabilitation program that address life controlling issues (drugs, alcohol, etc.) and workforce development and educational programs. This agency has worked on the South and Westside of Chicago with socially liable populations (HIV+/AIDS Impacted Individuals, Chemically Dependent, Moderate Mentally Ill, Sex Offenders and Non-Sex Offenders) for the past 20 years. We have also worked with the Illinois Department of Corrections (5 year contract for sex offenders), Department of Corrections (Probation Department), Department of Children and Family Services ( Juvenile Court – We’ve helped men and/or women to hold onto their children or to get their children out of the court system).
