Join us in Creating Change! The US Black Business Network is actively working to bridge the racial wealth gap through community-led financial activism. This work includes a Shop Black Shop Local pilot project. I founded the US Black Business Network (USBBN) on a core belief: there is no greater gift for our community than the right to self-determination through financial activism. Why? Because research from McKinsey & Company warns that without accelerated wealth gains, the racial wealth gap could endure for another 100 years. We refuse to wait. By acting as a unified community, we can claim the intergenerational wealth that is rightfully ours through expanded access to business ownership, housing, and higher education. Our pilot project in Mobile, AL Shop Black Shop Local has proven that this model works. Through this initiative, we have: Identified how to increase and sustain support for local Black-owned businesses. Generated enthusiastic community support and participation. Developed a scalable model to help other communities build wealth. To date, over 150 Mobile residents have actively supported this project through local purchases and engagement. Currently, our nonprofit is operated entirely by volunteers. Your support will ensure that we can continue developing this innovative path toward economic equity. FUNDaFIELD is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, run by students, dedicated to enriching the lives of less fortunate kids in the developing world through sports. FUNDaFIELD utilizes the therapeutic power of sports to support the rehabilitation and recovery process in post-conflict and post-trauma regions around the world. We work with local communities to provide soccer fields, soccer equipment and to host soccer tournaments.

COLLATERAL REPAIR PROJECT
Collateral Repair Project (CRP) in Amman, Jordan, has been assisting victims of violent conflict since 2006. We are a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization in the US and registered as an international organization with the Ministry of Social Development in Jordan. CRP was initially founded to aid Iraqi refugees fleeing violence in the aftermath of the second Gulf War, yet we offer our services to those in need regardless of nationality. We currently assist and seek to empower refugees from various nationalities -- for example, Syria, Iraq, Sudan, Yemen, Somalia -- and Jordanians living in extreme poverty. Our holistic approach supports refugees to take care of their most pressing basic needs through our Emergency Assistance Program, which provides food vouchers, cash assistance, and other vital items. We actively encourage those in our community to participate in activities at our vibrant community centers, where we offer various educational, recreational, and wellness activities so that they can gain skills, build community, and heal from trauma. Lastly, we provide leadership and community service opportunities for refugees to serve others, which has proven to be a key driver of their resilience. We are proud of the close ties and honest conversations we have with the community we serve, which is where our greatest strengths lie. Our great strengths are our deep knowledge and trust of our community, our commitment to community-based engagement, and our ability to provide emergency assistance to those in need in an efficient and timely manner. CRP supports the integration of refugees in Amman, Jordan, and is grounded in three core values that help us determine if we are on the right path and fulfilling our goals. 1. ISRAEL GUIDE DOG CENTER FOR THE BLIND
The mission of the Israel Guide Dog Center for the Blind is to improve the quality of life of visually impaired Israelis by providing them with independence, mobility and self confidence, as well as renewed self-esteem and companionship through the use of guide dogs. What we do: We breed, raise and train the guide dogs at our facility in Beit Oved, Israel, just south of Tel Aviv. When a blind Israeli requests our assistance, we transport them to our center, house and feed them for three weeks during training, and provide an additional week of training in their homes. We also provide follow-up care twice a year to make sure that the partnership is still working properly. This is all done AT NO COST TO THE BLIND! We are able to provide these services through the generosity of our donors – who have the vision to help those less fortunate. Our annual budget is just over $2.7 Million dollars, and as of December 2017, we had produced over 600 partnerships between Israelis who are blind or visually impaired and professionally trained guide dogs. Secondary Mission: In 2013 we added a secondary mission by providing Service Companions to people with Special Needs. While half of our dogs are selected for guide dog training, 50% fail to meet our exacting standards during evaluations, but these amazingly well trained dogs can still help people. In 2013 we formalized a program to repurpose these "career-change" dogs and provide them to blind children, autistic children, soldiers with PTSD or other adults with a variety of special needs. All of the dogs we produce go to loving homes and serve a purpose by helping people in need.
