Yet the places we love and the environmental values so many of us share are too often threatened by powerful industries, shortsighted politicians and more. Defending our environment requires independent research, tough-minded advocacy and spirited grassroots action. That’s the idea behind Environment North Carolina. City Rescue Mission
City Rescue Mission (CRM) was founded in 1946 to help homeless men in the Jacksonville area. Since its inception, CRM has evolved into a recovery program helping needy men, women and children from multiple counties in Northeast Florida, through meeting the basic needs of the homeless to providing a long-term residential rehabilitation program that address life controlling issues (drugs, alcohol, etc.) and workforce development and educational programs.
