Amman Imman: Water is Life

Amman Imman builds the resiliency among Africa’s most vulnerable indigenous peoples and engages students worldwide as socially conscious leaders. Through our Africa-based program, Oases of Life, we establish points of civilization that flourish, beginning with the construction of permanent water sources. Our programs emphasize the roles of women and youth as leaders for society stability in health, equality and climate change adaptation.

Our mission is simple: to love, care, nourish and guide these children as an extension of our own families. To spread joy to their lives by ensuring the basic needs and essentials are provided while teaching how to create sustainable projects within the various regions we work. Every child deserves to be loved and cared for. We build structures that are cocoons of healing and of igniting the human potential in each and every child. Every soul matters to us.

We are a faith-based Christian growth program. We are an adult facility assisting males ages 18 and older. We are non-medical and non-clinical. We are a completely voluntary program. We are a minimum 15 month program. A minimum of five months in Hot Springs, AR. 10 months in the second phase of the program in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Wells of Life is a 501(c)(3) non-profit Christian organization whose mission is to provide rural Ugandans access to safe, clean water through the installation or restoration of sustainable borehole water wells and WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) educational programs. By committing your support for clean water, you give time, opportunity, education and empowerment. When a community receives clean water, they are given the resources of health, hygiene, and time to create a more sustainable society.
