To honor our nation's service animals and their handlers. Our mission is to give all service animals, including working animals, and their handlers recognition they deserve and to increase understanding and appreciation for their service. We are committed to growing public awareness and generating grass roots support to build the National Service Animals Monument and to create the NSAM Education Program for educators nationwide. Through a broad spectrum of collaborative efforts across the country, we will spotlight the unwavering human-animal bond and create an emotionally moving experience to commemorate our heroes and educate and inspire visitors of all ages.
