Community Teamwork

Our organization provides programs and services that provide help in creating or re-establishing a bridge to independence. From day care to job training; emergency housing to home modification loans to keep seniors in their homes; providing a small business center that launches and support entrepreneurs and programs for youth through age 24 to receive mentoring and job training, our programs touch the lives of clients across the lifespan helping to break the cycle of economic inequality by giving them the tools to set and achieve significant goals.

WORLDWIDE ENDEAVORS

Worldwide Endeavors (WWE) is a non-profit charitable organization established to help the less fortunate help themselves. Our goal is to help others improve their situations in a way that is self-sustaining. Currently , we are assisting projects in 4 countries: Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, and Zimbabwe. All current projects are Primary Schools (US grades K – 7) WWE has a Board of Directors that reviews applications for new projects and oversees all current projects and the management of the organization. Each project is represented by a Board member who serves as the U.S. Project Director for monitoring, fundraising, and reporting to the Board. Donations to Worldwide Endeavors should be directed to specific projects. Contributions are tax deductible under the U.S. IRS tax code, section 501(c) (3). We raise money to achieve agreed upon goals, make periodic visits, provide technical assistance, evaluate milestones, and require high levels of accountability.

We accomplish our mission through prevention and intervention focused on high risk individuals, families and children. We: Provide cognitive-based programs, education and supportive services for pro-social living to adults in the Oregon prison system and to children and families in the community; Create and disseminate evidence based curricula and programs; Build community and create systems change to focus resources on addressing the full spectrum of social factors impacting the health of individuals and communities. Our vision for change is that clients who emerge from our programs and services are living crime-free lives and prospering as accountable citizens of their communities. Over the past 20 years, our focus has expanded from offering cognitive restructuring programs for the Oregon Department of Corrections to changing the way systems interact with and impact children, families and individuals through developing and using evidence-based programs and practices.
