CHANGING EXPECTATIONS CORP
Changing Expectations mission is to provide the highest impact STEM and computer science education programs to inspire young people from ethnically underrepresented backgrounds and prepare them to pursue STEM and computing careers. We focus our work on reaching out to young people who might otherwise not have access to quality STEM and computer science education programs. Changing Expectations provides technical assistance specializing in inspiring and raising STEM and computer science academic achievement for African American, Hispanic, and other traditionally underserved students who eat free/reduced lunch and their teachers, parents and (2) STEM and computer science educator preparation and professional development. Changing Expectations Corp also provides STEM education outreach services and informal learning opportunities to the community and the public. Changing Expectations provides the WeTeach_CS professional development collaborative for Central Texas computer science teachers. We also provide the My Brother's Keeper Coding Makerspace on cybersecurity for underrepresented Black and Hispanic male students supported by the National Science Foundation and a CSforALL Project on artificial intelligence for Black and Hispanic students with disabilities supported by the National Science Foundation.

In 2009 Nancy Herlin and Marjory Haddix met and shared their experiences of caring for a family member with CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy). After realizing how comforting it was to talk with someone who had been through similar experiences, the two decided to start an organization for people in the Austin area affected by neuropathy in order to share information and provide support in the journey with neuropathy. The two found others interested in achieving the same goals and who wanted and needed those goals to be met.

Founded in 1991, Atlanta Community ToolBank is America’s largest tool-lending resource, dedicated to equipping the charitable sector for service. More than 200 local nonprofits, schools and organized service groups borrow over 1 million dollar’s worth of ATL ToolBank tools each year, equipping over 55,000 local volunteers for service. In turn, those dedicated volunteers complete 2,100 community improvement projects annually. The Emmanuel Cancer Foundation provides New Jersey families facing the crisis of pediatric cancer a place to turn for comfort and support through professional in-home counseling and a uniquely tailored package of assistance – all free-of-charge. ECF is a non-profit foundation that does not receive any government or United Way funding, therefore there is no “red-tape” or bureaucracy, and there are no application forms. Our assistance begins after the first request for help. We acquire all of our donations from the private sector, from individuals, corporations, foundations and community groups. We rely solely on our community for support. The distinctive feature of ECF’s program is the tailored package of support provided at no cost to the family

Castaway Animal Rescue Effort (C.A.R.E.) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3), no-kill animal shelter and sanctuary that specializes in rescuing sick, injured, and abused animals in the Ozarks. C.A.R.E. is a nonprofit, state licensed facility. All animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
