The mission of Shepherd’s Table is to improve quality of life, create a pathway towards self-sufficiency, and inspire hope for the most vulnerable experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, and poverty. We welcome all to our community table for meals and access to social services, provided with compassion and respect.

Davis Community Meals

Davis Community Meals (DCM) is a non-profit, non-denominational organization whose mission is to provide low-income and homeless individuals and families with housing, food, and human services to help them rebuild their lives. DCM was created in 1990 by the initiative of members of the Episcopal Church of St. Martin in Davis and other religious and civic organizations as well as independent supporters. DCM began operations in February 1991 when our first Tuesday evening meal was served. Currently, we are serving three meals per week, operating a resource center, a street outreach program, providing emergency shelter to individuals, transitional housing programs for individuals and families and permanent supportive housing at Cesar Chavez Plaza. Our membership exceeds 2,500 individuals and over 100 organizations who lend their support through volunteer service, financial and in-kind contributions.

Music has been part of human existence for centuries and is a universal language that can be understood by all. It has the power to inspire, heal, and bring people together to support great causes. It is our strong belief that music is an integral part of society and that everyone should have an opportunity in life to learn, play and create music. We organize events and offer programs that can support and promote the joy of learning and performing music. Our programs and activities are to cultivate a positive music learning environment and let audiences experience the happiness and beauteous of music through free public performances. We're hosting public performances at retirement homes and public schools. We also hope to support and partner with other non-profit organizations in charitable functions.

CROSBY FUND FOR HAITIAN EDUCATION INC

The Crosby Fund for Haitian Education is a scholarship granting organization that provides full scholarships and funding to over 500 students from pre-K through university in more than 80 schools across Haiti’s rural Artibonite Valley. After graduating from secondary school, our university students go on to attend colleges in the capital city of Port-au-Prince. Many of our secondary school graduates go on to technical and vocational training at schools across Haiti. Upon receiving their degrees, The Crosby Fund then assists these graduates in securing internships and jobs across Haiti.
