New Beginnings Recovery Homes Inc. is the “parent agency” for New Beginnings Shared and Permanent Housing. This agency has worked on the South and Westside of Chicago with socially liable populations (HIV+/AIDS Impacted Individuals, Chemically Dependent, Moderate Mentally Ill, Sex Offenders and Non-Sex Offenders) for the past 20 years. We have also worked with the Illinois Department of Corrections (5 year contract for sex offenders), Department of Corrections (Probation Department), Department of Children and Family Services ( Juvenile Court – We’ve helped men and/or women to hold onto their children or to get their children out of the court system).

The We Care Food Pantry is an unfunded, all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) corporation. We have over 160 volunteers who donate approximately 3,600 volunteer hours every month. No one receives a salary. Our volunteers are here because their heart is in the right place and they want to give back to the less fortunate. Many of our volunteers are actually on our program.
