The mission of Arms wide Open is to provide the most needy members of the in-home chronic ill, aged and disabled communities with support services.
Arms wide Open is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt nonprofit organization that specializes in home and community-based services. Arms Wide Open captures existing resources, capitalizing on the extended life capacity of durable medical equipment by means of collecting equipment no longer in use and placing it with individuals in needs. Many people with healthcare related problems that live at home often need the use of durable medical equipment that assists them in meeting their daily activities and hygiene needs.
Where We Work
What We Do
The disabled man who needs a wheelchair; the chronically ill woman who needs a shower chair; the elderly woman who needs a walker; and the special needs girl who needs a portable ramp. Arms Wide Open CDC is here for them! Our number one objective is to help people with disabilities and chronic illnesses, without insurance or other means, to avoid nursing home placement.
