Our Mission

The main purpose of the Auburn Interfaith Food Closet is to provide nutritious food to individuals and families who do not have sufficient resources to purchase it themselves. This group includes low income workers, seniors, disabled, unemployed, homeless, and people in transition. We utilize the USDA nutrition guideline to ensure the families receive the right types of foods.

Who We Are

We were incorporated in 1998 and we provide groceries to about 800 families each month 92400 individuals). We are an all volunteer organization with about 170 volunteers. We are open five days a week and the last Saturday of the month (except December) f rom 10-2.
