Bikes for Kids Wisconsin

Bikes for Kids Wisconsin is powered by our love of cycling, our community, and our planet. We increase the use of bicycle-based transportation for everyone through access, low-cost repairs, and education. We’re a community making bicycling sustainable, equitable, and affordable for everyday transportation; where human-powered transportation is prioritized and betters all residents’ lives physically, emotionally, and economically. PROGRAMMING INCLUDES: • Annual Bike Giveaway - distributing approximately 2,000 bikes each year to those most in need. • Bike Mechanics Education - teaching youth how to be mechanics in partnership with public schools. • Bike to Work Program - distributing bikes to manufacturers, construction companies and others who have staff that struggle with access to transportation to work. • Bike Fleet Repair - we provide low cost repair services to school districts with fleets of bikes to keep them riding safely and efficiently.
