Purpose CSMN accomplishes its mission by: · Supporting collective action to eliminate root causes of inequality and injustice. · Connecting donors with a meaningful opportunity to invest in social justice. · Empowering nonprofit organizations in the creation of a fair, just and equitable society. Core Values We believe that we have an ethical imperative to create and sustain social justice. It is our responsibility to affect the root causes of social injustice – that is our compact with each other and with those we support. We believe that when we honor and unleash a plurality of voices, positive social change is possible. Providing opportunities and encouragement for historically underheard voices to be heard is both the method for creating change and the change itself. We believe that empowered and engaged people can address the root causes of social injustice. Bringing people together and providing opportunities for them to collaborate is the most effective method for addressing the root causes of social inequity. We believe “We all do better when we all do better”. The outcome of our collective commitment and action to address the root causes of social injustice creates a better life for all of us and a better world for generations to come.
