Who We Are

Founded in 1984 (and originally named Mothers at Home) Family and Home Network is a grassroots national nonprofit organization registered in the Commonwealth of Virginia. We focus on children's needs for warm, nurturing relationships with their parents -- and on parents' experiences and feelings as they take the time to meet their children's needs. We offer parents affirmation, information and advocacy. We educate policy makers and the media about research on children and parents - and we advocate for inclusive family policies so ALL families have choice, equity and flexibility.
