Our Mission

Global Explorers Kids is dedicated to providing children in the Chicago area with the opportunity to explore the diversity of the world’s peoples and helping them to understand and respect different cultures, using the arts as a catalyst towards learning.

Who We Are

Global Explorers Kids helps kids explore cultures through the arts. Founded in 2005, GEK has provided over 10,000 students with the opportunity to learn about the world’s cultures through hands-on, arts-based, educational activities. Programs are primarily visual arts focused, but may also include storytelling, games, movement, and music. GE brings programming to children in their neighborhoods--in schools, parks, community organizations, and local festivals--through in-school residencies, after-school classes, community workshops, preschool programs, and summer camps.
