Our Mission

WHERE THERE IS A RIGHT, THERE MUST BE A REMEDY. Global Justice Group's mission is to advance the Right to Remedy and Reparations for all victims of gross violations of human rights law. Seen that profit is the main motivation of the perpetrators and their supporters, we intend to increase the cost of perpetrating heinous crimes toward achievement of guarantee of non-repetition for future generations. We believe that survivors led actions directed at obtaining remedy have the power to impact the status of world justice. We envision a world where access to justice, truth, remedies and accountability is effectively and globally granted to all victims of serious abuses.

Who We Are

For over 20 years Global Justice Group has been working side-by-side with survivors around the world in their pursuit for recognition and justice, breaking barriers in accessing justice and remedy. Our team works with and for the survivors, identifying and locating victims, building with them the infrastructure for collecting the evidence, documenting gross human rights violations, and assisting in obtaining legal representation. Our strategic approach entails the activation of a network of jurists, lawyers, researchers, civil society organizations and human right defenders to find remedies, eradicate abuses and advance the human rights agenda. Survivors are at the forefront of each of our actions, prioritizing always their rights, safety, well-being, needs and wishes, with particular attention to the people facing the most vulnerable situations.
