Global Vision 2020 was founded to help end the world’s epidemic of poor vision

Who We Are

Global Vision 2020’s (GV2020) mission is to end the global epidemic of Uncorrected Refractive Error (URE or simply “blurry vision”) for the 2 billion people living without access to basic vision care. We aim to do this by identifying suitable partner organizations, NGOs, and government entities that provide services in low resource nations and training them to use our simple Vision Kit System which includes everything needed to dispense prescription eyeglasses after a half day of training. Distributing prescription distance and near eyeglasses to the base of the pyramid (BoP) will directly impact UN Sustainable Development Goal 3, Good Health and Well Being.
