Hands of Hope African Outreach

Hands of Hope Africa is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that aims to alleviate impoverished conditions of women and children in East Africa through empowering local grassroots actors. We believe it is essential to put resources in the hands of the individuals who truly understand the crippling issues of their communities and who are actively working to make a difference. The essence of Hands of Hope centers on creating a sustainable model that bolsters the effectiveness of local NGOs in Africa and builds upon their capacity to address the needs of their communities. This is done through active partnerships that work side by side to develop programs and initiatives that address the most pressing needs of the communities they work in. Our projects center on creating development opportunities for marginalized women and children that encourage self reliance and allow them to live safe, dignified lives.
