Response provides free, victim-centered advocacy and assistance to survivors of domestic violence & sexual assault in Pitkin and western Eagle Counties (Basalt & El Jebel area) of Colorado.

Who We Are

RESPONSE, founded in 1983, provides the only free, victim-centered services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault the Pitkin and western Eagle County areas of Colorado. RESPONSE is a non-profit, and provides services in both English & Spanish. Services include: 24-hour helpline: (970) 925-SAFE Crisis Intervention Court/Legal Advocacy & Court Accompaniment Information & Education on Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Health & Medical Accompaniment (may include SANE exams) Immigration assistance for victims of DV, SA & Human Trafficking Protection Order Assistance Safety Planning Support Groups Victims Compensation Assistance School-Based Prevention Education Programs
