International Needs

International Needs mission of transforming lives and changing communities in our 17 partner countries is accomplished through five core service areas. o Gospel Outreach – By sharing the love of Jesus Christ we are able to transform lives and change communities. We directly support church planters and community workers who build relationships with others through Bible study, discipling courses, summer camps for children, and ministering to refugees. We also provide training sessions for national pastors who may not have formal seminary training. o Education – Sponsorship for 2,000 children equips them to envision and achieve a lifetime of successful options and break the cycle of poverty in their family. o Health – Medical professionals from the US volunteer to serve on medical trips where they partner with resident physicians, nurses, dentists, and optometrists in the host country to provide free care. o Economic Development – These programs vary in each country, but all programs provide pathways for moving above the poverty of living on $1/day. Adult students learn marketable skills; have opportunities to start a small business, and live free from human trafficking – all vital parts of building a solid economic future. o Food and Water Initiatives – We address the urgent need for food and clean water through school food programs and agricultural development initiatives that give nutritional support. We also Install rain water catchment systems and bore wells for ministry partners in order to provide safe, clean drinking water for our schools and the communities.
