TURTLE CREEK CONSERVANCY

Dallas is ever growing. Everyday we see a new project starting, steel being erected, concrete being poured and buildings rising. But, if you look closely, there is a green space tucked into one of Dallas’ most beautiful and historic neighborhoods. That green space is Turtle Creek Park. An area of pristine grass and tall trees welcome to animals and people alike. Look closely, and you will see a refuge from city life, one that has been protected and preserved for decades, all so that the people of our city have a place to stretch their legs, play and celebrate. Look closer and you will see the group of dedicated citizens who’s unwavering goal is to maintain this treasure – you will see the Turtle Creek Conservancy. For generations we’ve been steadfast in our efforts to provide this historic, natural retreat to the city of Dallas. When you see a dog out on a walk or a stroller being pushed by the bright Azaleas, you see the Turtle Creek Conservancy. When you see a family having a picnic in the lawn or a bride posing under the live oaks, you see the Turtle Creek Conservancy. When you tour or attend an event at Arlington Hall, you see the Turtle Creek Conservancy. And just as the park is welcome to everyone, so are we.
