Our Mission

Our mission is to reach out to the abandoned and destitute children, sharing with them the everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ. With this in mind, we provide an ongoing mission to support their needs by providing food, clothing, shelter, education, medical care (agricultural program in the future) and, most of all, helping them find a friend in Jesus Christ. We believe that by doing all of these things we are showing them the true love of Christ. Currently, OIH is operating in Bombardopolis, Haiti, where we are also making a difference to the nearby communities.

Who We Are

.Formed in 2003 to provide shelter, food, clothing, medical care, and Christian education to Haiti’s orphans Located in Bombardopolis, Haiti (northwest of Haiti) Introduce the gospel of Jesus Christ to rural Haiti Reflect Christ’s character while working throughout Haiti Distribute food and clothing to the community Funded 100% through donations One hundred percent of donation is applied as you request Provide updates through newsletters Majority of work is done by volunteers Governed by Board of Directors (all volunteers) Registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Michigan Registered as a non-governmental organization in Haiti
