Our Mission

The Public Access Television Corporation (PATV) was established in 1984 and became a 501(c)3 organization in 1991, and was recently rebranded to North Shore TV (NSTV) in 2019. NSTV’s mission is to promote and produce non-commercial television programming of an educational, literary, cultural and civic nature. NSTV’S programming reflects the diversity and interests of our community and residents.

Who We Are

NSTV operates a community access television facility, studio and editing suites which are available to the residents of the incorporated villages of Great Neck/ North Shore and the organizations that serve the residents of these villages. NSTV provides a forum for the free expressions of ideas and the technology to express them. Through their resources and training, NSTV develops the audiovisual skills and media awareness of our residents and not for profit organizations. NSTV has been given numerous awards for its quality programming. NSTV has received 2 NY Emmy Nominations (2013/2016) - both for their series Veteran’s Stories.
