Who We Are

WE HELP PREPARE THE NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS. Since 2004, Teen HYPE has reached more than 35,000 Detroit-area youth through programming that assures every young person reaches their potential. Each year, hundreds of students in dozens of local schools are provided with adolescent health programs that emphasize future-oriented thinking, effective communication and avoiding risky behaviors. Additionally, more than 600 teens have been trained as Peer Educators who are dedicated to community service, social justice, and risk avoidance. Each year they develop an original stage production, focused on a riveting social issue, that reaches over 3,000 students and adults in the community.
