Our Mission

The Retreat provides comprehensive domestic violence services to residents of and visitors to the East End of Long Island.

Who We Are

Since 1987, The Retreat has been providing assistance to victims of domestic abuse on the East End of Long Island. Today, we offer core services of 24/7 hotline, group and individual counseling, legal advocacy and court accompaniment, prevention education, and emergency shelter. We have offices in East Hampton, Southampton, Riverhead and Hauppauge. All of our services are provided free of charge and kept completely confidential.
