Indiana Council on Problem Gambling

The ICPG works with all of the groups involved with gambling in Indiana. These include those State government entities involved with gambling including the State Legislature, Gamblers Anonymous, Gam-Anon, problem gambling treatment providers and all of the businesses providing legal gambling in Indiana. The ICPG works to ensure that state funded quality treatment for problem gambling exists and to ensure that those providing treatment are among the best trained therapists in the country by providing approximately 30 hours of training each year by the best presenters in North America. We offer help for gambling problems 24/7. This help includes direct referral to individuals and organizations involved with assisting problem gamblers and their family members and friends. Our other activities focus on raising the awareness of the issue of problem gambling in Indiana. The ICPG works with our sister organizations in the surrounding seven states via the Midcentral Alliance on Problem Gambling which the ICPG founded. This organization exists to share resources via joint activities so as to leverage our collective knowledge and other resources.

Unite The People Inc. promotes social justice throughout the United States and provides professional affordable legal services to California. Our organization's mission is to become a pillar of hope in the lives of the many people affected by incarceration, whether it be individuals who are incarcerated or their families. We aim to bring beneficial change for those disproportionately affected by a system that neglects to see all people are capable of rehabilitation. Through campaign and service, we hope to aid as many individuals who have chosen to use their sentence time to better themselves and who wish to prove they can be contributing members to society. We want to assist those who do not deserve or wish to be swallowed by the penal institutions and labeled as a lost cause. We believe the goal of penitentiaries should be rehabilitation, not punishment, and we work to see needed changes are made.
