ICNC/KINZIE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
ICNC advocates for the interest of business on Chicago’s Nearwest Side. ICNC strengthens both start-up & emerging companies by providing business development assistance as well as information and links to public and private resources and services. ICNC, an employer-driven organization, develops programs and services in response to the needs of the companies it represents. In addition to the $2.5 million a year in revenue from its incubator (operated by ICNC and its 501 (c)(3) affiliate, the Kinzie Industrial Development Corp or KIDC), ICNC receives over $700,000 a year in funding from government and foundation grants – positioning it to offer extensive no-cost services to local companies and tenants. Today, ICNC is comprised of over 400 member companies and represents the Nearwest side’s rapidly growing business community, comprised of over 2,000 small businesses. Our mission is to provide Godly Equine Assisted Learning programs to those dealing with anxiety and depression, loneliness, PTSD, loss of a spouse or child and high functioning autism to name a few. We strive to give each client truly meaningful experiences connecting with our two professional therapy horses, Buddy and Sissy. We are committed to providing everyone with an experience that will benefit them physically, emotionally, and mentally. We also encourage counsellors, therapist and parent to make this a weekly session for their clients, and see how tremendously each person grows.
