SMC1A Foundation is a Non-Profit Organization with the vision to bring awareness, accelerate research, and find a cure for SMC1A, and ultimately transform the lives of those affected. Our goal is to narrow research specifically to the mutations of the SMC1A gene which cause intractable epilepsy and neurodevelopmental and medical challenges, and to accelerate full spectrum research to find a cure and effective treatments.
