KinderEye
KinderEye is a nonprofit that provides free eye testing and prescription eyeglasses to children in underserved, rural villages in Guyana. Many children come from families that are unable to afford eye care and therefore go months, or even years, with untreated vision problems. By providing school-administered eye testing in primary schools, we ensure that every child has an equal opportunity to thrive in their learning environment.

The Wiscasset, Waterville and Farmington Railway Museum, Inc., is a non-profit organization established in 1989 to acquire, preserve, and restore the operation of narrow gauge railroads and equipment which operated in the Sheepscot Valley and on other roads and to establish a Museum for the display of artifacts for enlightenment and education of the general public concerning the social and economic impact of railroads on the communities served. Our Vision By offering transportation that employs historically significant equipment and practices, the reconstructed WWF Railway provides context needed to understand how this railroad has supported the culture, economy, and communities of the Sheepscot Valley in the past, and how it can continue to do so in an authentic manner.
