Cherab Foundation is a nonprofit for children with neurological or genetic impairments that affect communication with a focus on autism and the rare orphan diagnosis apraxia. Our mission is providing evidence-based and integrative approaches to help our special children with therapy, nutrition, socialization, and awareness, especially those that are at-risk in the US and the rest of the world, including low and middle-class countries. Without support, children in these situations are falling through the cracks in diagnosis, treatment, and then education and life.

ECF is a non-profit foundation that does not receive any government or United Way funding, therefore there is no “red-tape” or bureaucracy, and there are no application forms. Our assistance begins after the first request for help. We acquire all of our donations from the private sector, from individuals, corporations, foundations and community groups. We rely solely on our community for support. The distinctive feature of ECF’s program is the tailored package of support provided at no cost to the family

Go to the end. Jump and create wings on the way down. Upset the norm to end the violence and euthanizations of shelter animals. 7. BE A LEADER. Do not be a follower. You’ve been given a mile. Don’t take only an inch. At AHIMSA we believe there are two ways each of us must choose to view today's humanity. Hopeful or Fearful. We see Hopeful. CASA stands for: Court Appointed Special Advocate. CASA volunteers, are regular citizens like you, appointed by the courts, who have been trained to be child advocates for neglected and abused children in the foster care court system trained to assure that the rights and needs of these children are at the forefront of decisions that are being made by judges and lawyers and family members. For many neglected and abused children their CASA volunteer is the only reliable adult presence in their lives. And that single volunteer can often be enough to break the cycle of violence and neglect – not just for one child, but for generations to come.
