Since 1979, El Taller has been an open space for expression and dialogue inspired by the belief that creativity dispels fear and mistrust among communities. Hundreds of people gather at El Taller each month to participate in classes, exchange ideas, and find creative inspiration and a refuge in the middle of New York City. A language school, performance space, art gallery, and community institution, El Taller celebrates both the rich diversity and shared cultural heritage of the Americas.
