The Omid Foundation is committed to strengthening the social, emotional and economic opportunities of disadvantaged young women in Iran. We provide them with a sense of self worth and life and opportunities in three key areas: self-empowerment, education and training. We pride ourselves on our holistic approach to helping these young women learn to be treated with respect, dignity and kindness. The Omid Foundation also provides counseling assistance and entrepreneurship. Women leave our program feeling proud, strong and able to live their lives happily and confidentially in today’s society. Now in our second decade, we believe that we have developed one of the most effective programs in the world.

Family Empowerment Centers is at the forefront of creating pathways of opportunity for under-resourced individuals and families to experience greater joy and, therefore, greater hope in their future. We do this with a passionate desire to honor God and love our neighbor. Our goals are to provide programming and safe opportunities for the at-risk youth and individuals in our neighborhood, teach adults to learn English, and provide families access to food resources- all while training the next generation of leaders.

WildEarth Guardians

WildEarth Guardians is a non-profit, environmental advocacy organization whose mission is to protect and restore the wildlife, wild places, wild rivers, and health of the American West. The organization was founded in 1989 and has a long history of conservation successes protecting carnivores, ancient forests, rivers and other threatened landscapes and wildlife. We have more than 105,000 members and e-activists, the majority of whom live in the eleven Western states. The organization currently operates four major programs: Wildlife, Wild Places, Wild Rivers, and Climate and Energy. Our 25 person staff includes lawyers, policy experts, biologists, ecosystem restoration experts and fundraisers. Our 2015 budget is $3.5 million, which comes from diverse sources, including members and donors, foundations, government grants and recovered legal fees.
