SHELTER ANIMAL RESOURCE ALLIANCE (S.A.R.A.)
Shelter Animal Resource Alliance (S.A.R.A.) is a nonprofit organization located in Eugene, OR, dedicated to removing animals from shelters where they might otherwise face euthanasia. While in our care, we provide these cats and dogs with a safe and comfortable environment to live in, all necessary medical care, high-quality food and treats, and plenty of love and attention until we are able to find them their forever homes. S.A.R.A. funds this lifesaving work with a high quality second hand shop, S.A.R.A.'s Treasures. All items are donated by members of the community. All profits earned in the thrift store directly support the animals in the rescue program.

East Los Angeles Boys and Girls Club
An out-of-school-time site in the heart of unincorporated East Los Angeles, we serve over 2,000 youth annually plus another 2,000 through our non-profit partnerships. Our youth age range is 5 through 18. We do what others said could not be done, 100% of our teens achieve HS graduation in a community where 34% of adults have a HS diploma. Through our unique initiative, M.E.N.T.O.R. we focus on an individualized action plan for each child to fill the gaps by supporting them in their areas of need. We promote their social, educational, health, character development and vocational guidance. We strive to enhance the quality of their lives as participating members of a richly diverse urban society.
