Founded in 1998, Deer Run is located 40 miles south of Nashville and strategically located within 4 hours of 9 major metropolitan areas. Easily accessible to churches, schools, universities, community leadership organizations, and ministries, Deer Run is located on 100 acres of scenic, wooded property just 10 miles from historic downtown Franklin, TN. To improve the level of dignity, education, opportunity and health for orphaned, abandoned, abused, and/or neglected and special needs children, single mothers, widows and families on the north coast of Honduras. This will be accomplished through programs designed to provide opportunity, education, hope and love as well as providing for the spiritual, physical, emotional, educational, medical, and recreational needs of underprivileged children, in our Children's Home (orphanage), marginalized rural communities, and in our Jungle School. We also strive to share the love of Jesus Christ everywhere we go through acts of kindness and love.

Teller County Regional Animal Shelter (TCRAS) is a 501(c)(3) private, nonÂprofit, animal welfare organization. Each year, almost 800 dogs and cats in need find loving hands, warm beds and nourishing meals at the shelter. TCRAS, a limited-intake facility, gives every animal that enters its doors, the time, medical treatment and love it needs to be ready for their next happy phase. Since 2008, 3,511 dogs and 1,653 cats were either returned to their original owners or placed in new homes through the efforts of TCRAS.
