NYC Medics’ two-pronged approach towards disaster focuses on both pre and post disaster impacts. Our primary focus has been responding to disasters and treating those affected in hard to reach areas. This is accomplished through our network of committed volunteer medical personnel, willing to deploy within hours of being contacted. In our training program in Kenya we are working with local government officials and organizations to build a sustainable, well trained work force in pre-hospital care, incorporating fire services cross training in basic first aid. By teaching and certifying a greater number of personnel in pre-hospital care, we hope to increase access to the healthcare system and provide basic life saving measures to those who currently lack access to these services.

Duette Animal Rescue Team, Inc.
Duette Animal Rescue Team (DART) is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating feral, stray, and abandoned cats, as well as former exotic pets. We provide permanent or temporary homes for cats, prioritizing those in danger or on shelter euthanasia lists due to behavioral issues or special needs. DART also works with Prosimian species and other small exotic ex-pets, offering behavioral training and rehabilitative care to reduce stress and anxiety caused by improper care. Our nonprofit collaborates with zoos, private owners, and animal sanctuaries to enhance the quality of life for rescued animals A unique aspect of DART is our commitment to covering medical costs for adopted senior cats and always taking them back if needed. We also support conservation efforts for exotic species in their native habitats.

Chicago Tiny House, Inc. exists to create tiny house communities throughout Chicago that will provide homeless Chicagoans with safe, cost-effective housing and integrated supportive services. We have been helping the homeless of Chicago for over 30 years collectively. Specifically working with the Uptown Tent City over the last two years. Tent City housed an estimated population of 70 people. Who all lived under the bridges of Wilson and Lawrence Avenues at Lake Shore Drive. Our cause does not stop with the elimination of this community. We are completely volunteer-powered by bringing together concerned citizens, advocates, lawmakers, and donors. So, we can bring shelter, food, and supportive services to our most vulnerable neighbors, greatly reducing homelessness. While helping them move forward with dignity. Chicago Tiny House has partnered with, and is in touch with, both sides of the housing problem. We are knowledgeable about, and actually live alongside, our target demographic. We have created a growing database of followers, developers, donors, contractors, government agencies, and laborers. So, we bring a unique perspective and experience to this process. We are committed Chicagoans with small-business acumen as well as having a boots-on-the-ground relationship with our local homeless population. Our hope is to propose, implement, and operate Chicago’s first Tiny House Community. We can’t do it alone. CADREC is a Colorado State Licensed Outpatient Facility for the Treatment of Substance Use Disorder. CADREC provides basic outpatient treatment services for substance use disorder. Services are designed to meet the needs of the consumer, both personally and legally. CADREC develops an individual service contractual agreement between CADREC and the consumer. CADREC offers services that satisfy the majority of legal requisites associated with drug-related offenses such as DUI, DWAI, and domestic violence. CADREC delivers treatment for substance use disorder to individuals regardless of ability to pay. CADREC is an authorized Medicaid provider.
